James developed a strong interest across a diversity of individuals, organisations and industries in North Queensland, Queensland, Western Australia, Australia and internationally. James founded a boutique financial advisory services group based in Cairns, Queensland. the group combines practical financial and general management experience and knowledge, qualifications and a professional advisory network to deliver client focused, sustainable vision, growth and equity outcomes.
James has over 30 years of general and financial management and advisory experience with leading organisations including Fox Columbia Film Distributors, Roadshow Home Video, Hospitaility Inns, the Angliss Group (Union International PLC, Vestey Group of Companies UK), Wesfarmers Limited including secondment to McKinsey & Co, Crowe Howarth (formally WHK Greenwoods, William Buck, Hall Chadwick Chartered Accountants).
Combining over 30 years of qualified management and advisory experience and supported by a leading network in taxation and law we facilitate the best objective advisory solutions through strategic business planning and management, financial modelling and analysis, feasibility studies, marketing, new product development, human resources and organisational development for “small and medium size enterprises” (SME) clients across a range of industry segments.
In 1988 he commenced in general management with Angliss Group in Perth, including 3 years in Angliss Cairns (ex-PenPak), Torres Strait and Papua New Guinea seafood interests.
In 1992 he joined Wesfarmers Limited in Perth as “financial and systems analyst” with responsibility for the agency franchise network with annual sales in excess of AUD600million, including merger integration and conversion of Dalgety Farmers network into Wesfarmers Limited (Landmark later sold to AWB), including secondment to McKinsey & Co for major strategic and financial planning and review project reporting to Wesfarmers Limited board.
In 1996 James returned to Cairns joining Crowe Howarth (formerly WHK, William Buck and Hall Chadwick Chartered Accountants) working with clients in strategic and business planning, financial modelling and analysis, information memorandum & prospectus documentation.
In 2004 James a boutique advisory group and in 2006 established Fynergy for private clients including credit advice, securities, cash and property investment management.
